I've arranged a full day of Life drawing at my new project space in Bradford/Leeds. It's an excellent opportunity for professionals and amateurs alike, the dab hand project space will host a full day (9-5 including breaks) of life drawing, painting and sculpture in October. 

There will be two models (1 male, 1 female) in two separate set-ups. Artists will be free to move between the ‘sets’ as they see fit. There will be one pose all day from each model and it is untutored, so this is primarily an opportunity to make sustained studies. Price for the full day is £35, including tea and coffee. Artists are welcome to bring their own lunch or take advantage of local eateries- there will be a 45 minute lunch break.

I hope you've had a really great summer. Here at the studio it's 'back to school' time. All the usual classes will be running, most starting in the first week of September. If you would like to place a booking please could you reply this week as I have just arranged a last minute break over the week beginning 27th September.

Also take note that the sculpture classes have changed structure slightly due to the slightly more 'workshop' nature of the subject, making the studio time more flexible.

Life drawing

Thursday sessions (6.30-8.30) will recommence 6th Sept, 10weeks for £125

Monday sessions (6.30-8.30) will recommence 17th Sept,10 weeks for £125 FULLY BOOKED

Painting and drawing for adults

Saturday morning (10-12) will recommence 8th September, 10 weeks for £125

Painting and drawing for youngsters

Older kids/ teens (1-2 pm) recommence 8th September, 6 weeks for £45

Younger kids (3-4 pm) recommence 8th September, 6 weeks for £45

Sculpture sessions

The studio will be open from 12.30-8.30pm every Wednesday. Students can purchase a ticket for twenty hours studio tuition to use at their convenience for £160. Those who wish can buy a ticket with a ten week expiry date for the discounted price of £150. New students be assured you will receive one-to-one help and advice until your project and confidence develop beyond the need for it!

Big friendly dreams

A local school came to the studio for their annual art adventure. They have a literacy project involving the BFG so we made dreams in jars. On Thursday we will be making a big inflatable giant.

I've got seven pieces of sculpture in this exhibition. The preview is from 6.30 on friday. It would be fantastic if you could make it.

I have now taken delivery of my first two bronze figures. Cast in limited editions of ten these can be bought at any of my exhibitions or by getting in touch.
