In between all the community projects and workshops, I'm getting a bit of drawing and painting done. The finer detailed painting is being rescued from a slobbery blobby disaster I made a couple of weeks ago. I tend to paint thick and loose, so it's difficult to retrieve a painting when it doesn't work out- there's usually too much paint to keep a sense of the drawing. The small portrait on the easel is of Martin- he's the 'everyday life model' blogger I mentioned in a previous post.
